There is a major gap in the current landscape of advertising between what women (who hold much of the buying power) see when they are represented by the media and who they really are. Cheesy stock imagery featuring a busty babe gleefully loading the laundry, struggling to power up a computer or coming home with arms full of shopping bags that look as though they weigh more than she does? Guys we are so over it.
Enter Shestock. Featuring well-produced, marketable imagery of women doing what women actually do. Fixing things, working hard, playing hard and being awesome while doing it. Represented in all of their glory, in a range of shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and ages, you know, as they are in real life.
I'm proud to be producing images for them and if you are interested in stepping up your game and supporting female positive imagery you can check them out here.
