When Hope asked me to photograph her boutique Marmalade for the Visa Small Business feature she laid the ultimate compliment on me, "photo-ninja."
Like most she isn't exactly affectionate of having her own portrait taken but of our past shoot together she said "I didn't even realize you were shooting, and I liked the results." Marmalade was a ton of fun to shoot, to say that I like color would be a gross understatement, my first student show was the only one that year that was not in black and white and it was almost shocking to see my saturated prints on the walls.
